Silly and deep thoughts when you’re 2 1/2
Cutest knock-kneed pirate ever!
Yesterday morning I asked Meredith if she’d like Cheerios, Miniwheats, or Bran Flakes for breakfast.
Her response: “Rinnie Wheats!!”
“You mean Mmm-Miniwheats”
Meredith: “Rinnie Wheats!”
I just laughed.
Later, Meredith came to me all excited: “Mommy, Mommy, decorations on our house.” We had gotten our tree the night before, but hadn’t decorated it yet, so I didn’t know what she was talking about.
She took me outside and showed me how the light was shining on the dew drops on the screen on the porch.
“Those are special decorations from God, Meredith. He made the water go on the screen and shine the sun light through it.” It reminded me of how God’s creations of beauty trumps ours every time.

love it!! and I love rinnie-wheats, too!! Those are my favorite!
It’s so neat to see things through the eyes of our kids. Meredith is a special one, for sure. Love, MOm
I guess this is why Jesus said we must become like children to understand the kingdom of heaven!
He trumps just about everything, doesn’t he? (big smile.)
