Pop-overs?!
Tonight I made popovers to go with our Turkey-Vegetable Soup. I thought they were the coolest thing as a kid, and thought the kids would enjoy them too. Listen in on our conversation:
Me: We’re having pop-overs – do you want to watch them pop up in the oven?
Lauren: Pop-buggers?
Me (laughing): No, pop-overs.
Meredith: Pop (long pause) overs?
Me: Yeah, Meredith.
Lauren: Hop-overs?
Me: No, sweetie, pop-overs.
Lauren (finally): Pop-overs.
I made whole wheat pop-overs, and they turned out delicious. The kids really liked them too. Of course, all through dinner they said “What are these called again, Mommy?”

Sounds like fun and yummy too. I will have to try them sometime. Dad loves popovers since it was his mom who made them not mine. Love, Mom
