Sunday school lessons

On the way home from church today:

Rinnie: Meredith, what did you learn about in Sunday school today?

Meredith: Dod (God)

Rinnie: What did you learn about God?

Meredith: Dod made amals (animals)

Rinnie: Good, Meredith.  How about you Lauren, what did you learn about?

Lauren: Moses

Rinnie: What did you learn about Moses?

Lauren: I don’t know.

Rinnie: (wracking her brain to remember what last week was: was it the 10 plagues, no I think it was crossing the Red Sea. Oh wait, here’s her take home paper.) Did you learn about how God gave Moses and the other people food in the desert?

Lauren: Yeah.

Rinnie: Do you remember what it was called?

Lauren: Nana!!!

Erik: Wow, that must have been confusing for her!!!

Rinnie: Lauren, sweetie, it was called M-M-manna, not N-N-Nana (what she calls Erik’s grandmother!!)
