Another fun fieldtrip
A few days ago we joined others from the home school co-op here, and visited the Giraffe Park (see our last trip there), and went to the Bomas of Kenya.
The Bomas dancers perform various traditional dances from many different Kenyan tribes. The kids loved it, and Meredith and I were even invited to dance on stage with some dancers!
Afterwards, we wandered through models of many various tribal villages. Again, a huge hit with the kids. Here are all the girls that came (the boys of course were all running off somewhere and we couldn’t catch them for the picture!)
Lest you think our life here is all fun and games (translation: field trips and cheap veges and flowers). . . we found out a few days ago that our landlord is selling our house. I cried, the girls cried. They have made such good friends here in the neighborhood, and I’m so sad for them to have to leave them. I’m also sad to have to pack and unpack AGAIN. Please pray that God would provide another house for us soon (we have to be out by mid-July), and that He would continue to provide good friends, for the kids especially.
