OK, I know I already talked about how cheap flowers are here. But veges are also cheap. I got all these veges, plus a massive bouquet (which I split into two large bouquets) for $32! And now I have the smell of lilies in my house!

Yesterday Lauren accidentally plugged her beloved CD player, which she listens to nightly while falling asleep, into the wrong side of the transformer (the power here is 240, not 110 like in the US.) So this evening we went to get her a new one. $100 later. . . She’s excited, though, because it has a remote. Way cool!
