New friends
God has been very gracious to us in that we already have friends here. We spent Christmas afternoon with our friends Erik and Rachel and some of their extended family, and will spend New Years Eve with our friends Markus and Lindsey (Erik went to high school with Markus.)
The kids have made some friends in our neighborhood. Here’s Meredith with her friend Adonga, who is also five. They also have a couple other little girl friends, and they and the little boys in the neighborhood love to chase each other around. School is out here for the month of December, so I’m so thankful that all these kids are around, with time to spend playing.

Both Sarah and Ethan loved looking at your pics and Ethan told our friends – those are our friend who moved to AFRICA!!!! Very proud and excited to actually know someone who is living there. Happy new year!
