Kindergarten cook

My sweet, helpful, mothering Lauren. She loves to write, loves to bake (Hmm, wonder where she got that from!), loves to jump, loves stories, and loves Jesus.

I recently sold the girls’ doll house, and they got to spend the money from it ($20 each.) Lauren got this baking outfit and a cookbook. She’s had a great time picking out recipes from her new cookbook, and we’ve had fun making Dragonfly pretzels, butterfly shaped cake, and various other pink and sprinkle-y concoctions.

We started Homeschooling Kindergarten a couple weeks ago. We’re having a lot of fun (most of the time), and I’m enjoying being so involved in her learning. I feel like it’s given fun structure to our “free time.”

Awww… that is so sweet! Glad she likes cooking and baking. Fuller likes to help dump ingredients.

I am so glad that you have written these past 3 posts about your beautiful girls! I don’t get to see/talk to them that much (hint hint) that I feel like I know a little more about them now. I love that! I know your schedule is going to be crazy soon – call me when you’re available to get together!

that is an awesome picture…. how old is she? she looks like she wouldn’t even get carded…. in the best way possible! no if you could get her to do all the cooking! (except enchiladas and cookies, we can’t afford those to get messed up.)
