Many visitors

The last couple weeks we’ve had quite a few visitors. It started with a fun visit from Paul and Mindy, our newly married friends who spent Thanksgiving weekend with us. My old friend Kim and her 2 daughters Kelli and Leah came the next week. It’s always so fun to watch our kids play together and remember doing the same when we were kids. We spent an enjoyable day at Seaworld together. They were followed by a brief visit from my parents – we are looking forward to a longer visit after Christmas by them. And in between all this, we put up our Christmas tree.

The biggest adventure of the last couple weeks was the timing belt breaking on my van as I went to pick up my parents from the airport at midnight!!! Thankfully I had my cell phone, so Erik came to rescue me, my poor parents had to wait forever at the airport, and my father-in-law went “above and beyond the call of duty” and came over to watch the girls. What an adventure!!
