Sliding Fun

The 2 big girls have been in swim lessons with Adam and Trey. The other day they were in their swim lessons and Coriena was playing on the play ground while I chatted with a friend from church whose son is also in the lessons.

All of a sudden I saw Coriena at the bottom on the slide. And then I watch her get off the slide, toddle over to the stairs (yes, she finally started walking a month ago at 14 months!!), go up the stairs and over to the top of the slide, and slide down (on her belly, feet first) – all by herself!! I guess when you’re the 3rd kid, you just watch everyone else and figure out how to do all the fun stuff!!

Later, I said something to Pam about it, and she said Coriena had been doing the same thing a couple days before when she was at the playground with the kids. She had just figured we’d taught her how to do it!!
